Airasia launched yet another very low cost travelling promotion. This RM0.05 promotion is valid for travelling between 12th January 2009 until 30th April 2009. Booking period is 30th June 2008 until 6th July 2008.

We have a few holidays in between January and April next year, or evry year for that matter. We have Chinese New Year, Hari Wilayah Persekutuan, Maulud Nabi and March school holidays.

A good travelling period will be from 24th January until 3rd February 2009. You can squeeze your holidays between Chinese New Year and Hari Wilayah. However, you have to be patient when looking for bargain tickets between this period. I did not manage to get any yeaterday. Will try until end of promotion period.

I managed to get a few suggestion for you. At RM300 per person, LCCT-Bandung from 3rd February until 6th February 2009. At RM210 per person, LCCT-Jakarta from 3rd February until 6th February 2009. At RM315 per person, LCCT-Jakarta from 31st January until 3rd February 2009.

Another bargain is from 6th March until 9th March 2009. LCCT-Jakarta at RM210 per person.

Next school holidays will be from 16th August 2008 until 23rd August 2008. For those who want to have last fling before the “economic weather” turns bad, here is a proposal for your perusal.

I have checked KLM website and found out that for travelling between 16th August - 20th August 2008, the return tickets for 3 adults and 3 kids is RM2,670 only. Flight is from KLIA - Jakarta. I compared with Airasia and found out that it will cost you RM3,300 instead.
